Corte bar, a cutting-edge experience
Located in the main square, Corte bar, with more than 27 years of experience, hosts local and foreign guests during whole year, and in that way it continues the tradition in our town that started some time ago… In the wintertime it is a local café bar where even the names of guests just passing through are well known. In the summertime it transforms into top-notch cocktail bistro bar. With enviable offer of alcoholic drinks that counts more than 600 different brands of gins, whiskeys, vodkas, tequilas and domestic and foreign liquors,as well as food offer of the most interesting nibbles from around the world, you can experience the world without losing the atmosphere of Dalmatia. With a lot of entertainment program and good music, this place will certainly interest you in coming back in the morning to drink coffee with the locals and experience the charm of drinking coffee in Dalmatia…
In 2007 Corte bar decided to raise the quality of the cocktail offer to a higher level with the help of the famous professional bar-tending school from Zagreb called MixyFlair Style,represented by its master teacher Vjenceslav Madić-Kiš.After that, Corte Bar employed-young and talented bartender Dušan Janjatović –Duki, who was, at the time, the second-best bartender in Croatia. In the period from 2008 to 2010 the bar was working a lot on the quality of drinks and shows.
In 2011 and 2012 Corte bar employed Mario Majcen from Zagreb, who was also a Croatia flair champion. He continued to make high quality cocktails and provide attractive shows. In 2013 Corte bar employed Marin Šauperl, the instructor in the bartending school UBS Split. In 2014/2015 Dušan Janjatović –Duki returned to Corte Bar. In the meanwhile, he won the Croatian bar tending championship 4 times and represented Croatia at the World Bartending Championship, where he won 5th place twice. He also participated in the 1stCroatian Super Talent Show, where he was a semi-finalist.
In seasons 2017/2018/2019 Corte bar’s head bartender was Jure Vojković, the Vice president of Croatian Bartenders’ Association (HUB). In2020, he was external associate of Corte bar. In2015 Vojković was the national champion in the classic category with the cocktail Alkar. In 2016 he competed at the World Bartending Competition (IBA) in Tokyo (Japan), where he won 8th place. As a delegate of the Croatian Bartender’s Association, he participated in the World Bartending Competition (IBA). As a bartender he has won 59 awards at regional, national, international and world bartending competitions. He is also a lecturer at the high school Aspira.
This year Corte bar is planning to raise the bar even higher and we are very excited about that!
